​Preaching since the age of 19, Rev. Dr. Michael Heath quickly became known for his remarkable ability to effectively use his "street smarts" to break down the Word of God for to those who, otherwise, might not comprehend the Bible. He has always been on the cutting edge of ministry and strongly believes that every soul is essential, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, even religion. Growing up in an environment filled with secular activities, Rev. Dr. Heath can easily relate to the struggles and strongholds that are prevalent in today’s society, and genuinely believes that there is never a situation or broken heart too difficult for God to mend.
Rev. Dr. Heath has over 30 years of ministry experience serving the Kingdom of God.  He has ministered throughout the continental United States as well as in the countries of Jamaica and Kenya. He has served as the Senior Pastor of established churches and has successfully navigated as a church planter. Rev. Dr. Heath currently serves as the Senior Pastor of First A.M.E. Church of Darby Township, which is located in Sharon Hill, PA. 
Rev. Dr. Heath believes that individuals should be taught the unadulterated Word of God while given examples of forgiveness, excellence, worship and unconditional love. His main focus on ministry extends beyond the four walls of the church – it’s in meeting the actual needs of the community and impacting the church's local context that sums up the ministry to which God has called him. His desire is to build ministries where the worship is exciting, the music is heart piercing, and the message is relevant yet convicting and life–changing.
Rev. Dr. Heath is married to his loving and supportive wife, Crystal Heath, and together they share four adult children.
Rev. Dr. Heath currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at MISSIO Theological Seminary. He has been a guest lecturer at Albright College, Temple University, the University of Valley Forge, and at various conferences throughout the country, with the goal of equipping men and women with the tools needed to impact the lives of those both inside and outside the church realm. In additional to his other accomplishments, Rev. Dr. Heath is a proud member of the Phi Beta Sigma, Fraternity Inc.
Rev. Dr. Heath holds a Bachelor of Science in Leadership and Ministry from Grace Christian University. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Biblical Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from MISSIO Seminary.
Rev. Dr. Heath is also the author of a small group study and individual devotional book on prayer entitled, "Living the Lord's Prayer"
